The American Yawp is an open source, free American History textbook. We will not use this often, but it is a useful resource.
The American Yawp Reader is the primary source companion reader to the American Yawp textbook. It is a good jumping off point if you need primary sources in class.
You can find the full citations (MLA Format) for each of the textbooks at the bottom of this page.
You ABSOLUTELY do not have to do this.... but if anyone wants a copy of the AMSCO book, it is available from Amazon for about $25. Make sure you are getting the 4th Edition. CLICK HERE to buy it.
