Pasadena ISD is transforming classrooms by implementing a personalized learning model in grades 4-11. The Connect Personalized learning model puts each student at the center of their own learning. Through a digital learning platform teachers are empowered to customize instruction to meet their students' individual needs and interests. Students are empowered to become self-directed learners and develop the habits, mindsets and behaviors that lead to academic and personal success.

Increases student engagement
Students who are currently enrolled in Personalized Learning (Connect) courses at the intermediate level will automatically be enrolled in Personalized Learning courses for 9th grade.
