It helps students to plan and manage resources effectively in order to address contemporary issues facing families and communities.
Health and Movement Science
(formerly PDHPE)
This course provides students with the opportunity to learn about the range of areas that underpin health and movement. Health & Movement Science deepens student understanding of how the body functions and responds to physical activity, promoting lifelong health and fitness. Students also engage in a deep discovery of the health status of Australians, including groups at risk, major causes of disease, epidemiology and comparisons to a global context.
