The French Beginners course (2 Unit) provides students with the opportunity to develop their linguistic and intercultural knowledge and understanding, and the speaking, listening, reading and writing skills to communicate in French. The topics covered provide contexts in which students develop their communication skills in French and their knowledge and understanding of language and culture.
This course is designed to teach the students authentic French that they can use well beyond school. French is spoken on all continents and is the official language of 29 countries. It is also widely spoken across many more countries and territories as an offical co-language and has an officially recognised status in more countries still. Not only is it a great skill to have, it also can be a real asset for your future career, whatever it might be.
