KLA: CREATIVE & PERFORMING ARTS
Ceramics is designed to enable students to gain an increasing accomplishment and independence in their representation of ideas in ceramics and understand and value how ceramics, as a field of practice, invites different interpretations and explanations in the world. It is particularly suited to students who enjoy working with their hands and prefer to see results of their studies in sculptural form.
Students will develop knowledge, skills and understanding through the making of ceramic works that lead to and demonstrate conceptual and technical accomplishment. They will undertake critical and historical investigations of ceramics.

Students will document the technical aspects of their work and will note the development of concepts and ideas, points of departure and changes in direction in their diaries.
