Our prestigious LIA Hall of Fame was founded in 2023 to recognize and celebrate those LIA students who have made a lasting impact on their school and community. The Hall of Fame inductees are candidates who have demonstrated exceptional leadership as members of the LIA executive team and exemplify and support the mission of Latinos In Action both as a student and community advocate!

Tell us about your LIA experience? My experience in LIA at Boca High was fantastic, the program exposed me to many opportunities inside and outside of High School with leadership being my main focus. It was a program full of kids like myself who wanted to help the community and be the change. It created an easy opportunity to meet new friends and create even stronger bonds with students and faculty.
What is your vision for the future of LIA at Boca High? My vision for the future of LIA at Boca High is to see the class not only expand in number of students but also more outside of the school. I would love to see the class get more involved in volunteering and events to help the community. I want everyone to know what LIA is and what the students who come from that class stand for.
What advice can you offer students entering LIA at Boca High? The advice I can offer new students coming into LIA is always to give it 100% you never know who is watching and which project will be the one that changes the world. Create as many connections with people you don’t know as possible and always give the best first impression you can offer.

Bio: Hey!! I am from El Salvador. I am a cheerleader, and I was a student in L.I.A's Founding class. I was a freshmen and up to my senior year I am still apart of the L.I.A. family.
Tell us about your LIA experience? Me being apart of L.I.A. in the beginning was very new to me. Meeting new people and being introduced to other peoples different cultures was very appealing. It opened up my understanding of cultures and traditions that many people do.
What is your vision for the future of LIA at Boca High? I envision L.I.A becoming such a big part of school, I see it taking over and having more spirit and so many collaborations with other clubs.
What advice can you offer students entering LIA at Boca High? Be open, make friends and have fun. It's a wonderful experience that you'll never forget.

Tell us about your LIA experience.
LIA opened a door for me to connect with a part of me that I needed to train: leadership. Being able to interact and connect with people from different backgrounds taught me how to guide them using both our differences and our similarities. Some of my best memories from High School come directly from that class.
What is your vision for the future of LIA at Boca High?
LIA at Boca High should be able to perform at its best and become into a club with the highest impact, not only in the school but also around the area. That can be easily accomplished through the new mechanism of dual classes; while one group is learning the basics, the other group is making all the action and magic at each project.
What advice can you offer students entering LIA at Boca High?
Be yourself would be the greatest piece of advice that I can offer. You will be more useful for the club if you are able to produce unique and original input from your side because it will make the projects diversify and reach places that maybe could not have been reached before.
