Newsela is an online news-as-literacy platform that features high-interest nonfiction articles on everything from current events to myths and legends and from literature to science.  Newsela publishes 10 articles per day on 5 different reading levels with at least one in Spanish.  Each article has a quiz and a writing prompt.
