The Interactive Classroom

The Interactive Classroom is the established configuration for all School District of Palm Beach County classrooms. All standard classrooms are equipped with an Audio Enhancement system, document camera, SMART interactive display, and classroom projector. This degree of technology integration transforms classrooms into digitally rich, personalized learning environments.

SMART IFPs

All standard SDPBC instructional classroom have SMART interactive flat panels (IFPs). These displays help create digital and blended learning environments that allow both instructional flexibility and engaging interaction with the most current technology.

Audio Enhancement

All SDPBC media centers and classrooms comprising at least 600 square feet are outfitted with Audio Enhancement amplifiers that greatly enhance the sound quality and reliability of transmission of the teacher's voice. Audio Enhancement systems also allow for amplified audio playback of connected multimedia devices to create equitable learning environments to ensure that every student can hear.

Document Cameras

All instructional areas are equipped with the AVer U70+ model document camera. This standard of technology allows for flexible instructional options to help teachers meet the needs of the diverse learners in their classrooms.

Projectors
