Key Guidelines for Staff and Students

• Staff Guidelines: Requires a "human-in-the-loop" for critical decisions like grades or discipline, strictly protects student privacy and PII, and restricts AI use to secure SDPBC Technology Clearinghouse (TCH)-approved tools. 

• Student Guidelines: Allows District-approved AI tools for learning under teacher guidance with proper citation, while banning AI on standardized assessments and prohibiting deepfakes or data fabrication.
