Technology is all around us, but there are different levels of how it may be used to enhance student learning. This section provides various frameworks for integrating technology with the curriculum. The objective revolves around ascending Bloom's Taxonomy, progressing from fundamental memorization to more advanced cognitive levels, facilitated by the Technology Integration Frameworks

Learning is defined as the acquisition of knowledge or skills through experience, study, or by being taught. The 4C’s - Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Creativity outlined by the Partnership for the 21st Century Learning show the basic skill set that students need critical thinking to meet the demands of the ever-changing global economy. Businesses rely on educators to instill the integration of these 4C's into students' daily lives.

The ISTE Standards are guidelines for integrating technology into the curriculum. There are standards for students, teachers, administrators, and technology coaches.

The Technology Frameworks are models for integrating technology. It takes the 4C’s and ISTE Standards and provides a path for how teachers can start integrating technology with their curriculum.

The central emphasis lies in curriculum integration, which entails the incorporation of technology into the learning journey to align with educational standards essential for students to demonstrate mastery. The primary emphasis consistently remains on the process of learning itself.
