In our Read Write Inc Phonic lessons the children have been making excellent progress and have impressed us all with how swiftly they are moving through the groups.  Keep up the good work at home parents; teaching a child to learn to read is a team effort!

This term we have been learning the story of The Magic Porridge Pot and learning about a non-fiction recount.  The children have been working very hard on their writing skills and are developing correct letter formation, good use of phonic skills for spelling and are starting to write simple sentences.
