Student Attendance Champions
We are excited to announce our 4 new Student Attendance Champions who will support the school's attendance team. Next term they will be busy talking with pupils and getting their views on how we can continue to make our attendance better and why sometimes it is hard to be in school. They will also support us with developing a system individual pupil rewards to go alongside all the things we do for classes and the whole school. Watch this space!

Thank you to all the parents and carers who shared their views on attendance at OVPA. We are currently looking through all the responses to look at how we can continue to promote positive attendance and support the children. Next term, we will share an overview from the results and what we are going to do next.

This term we had 112 pupils with 100% attendance! All of these pupils were entered into an attendance raffle.
This terms winners were:

If your child has 100% attendance next term, you could be the next family to win one of our raffle prizes!
Since the start of the year we have 29 pupils who have 100% since September! Can they keep going till July?

We have seen a big improvement in attendance this term and we are now better than we were last year. Thank you all for your support. We are continuing to look at ways that we can support you if there are ever any problems so please talk to a member of staff if there is anything we can do.
