FoodCorps’ mission is to work with communities to connect kids to healthy food in school through lessons/activities in the garden, classroom and cafeteria. FoodCorps Service Members are key liaisons for school sites to implement Environment, Food and Garden programs and curriculum. District FoodCorps Service Members also work with OUSD Nutrition Services and The Center Education & Community programs team to implement Harvest of the Month and other environment, food, and programs across the district.
Sustainability Service Corps service members are key to activating field trips to The Center and school garden program assessment and supports, as well as the EFG Champion program.
