Ever since I was a young girl, I have always loved to read and write. In elementary school I would fill notebooks upon notebooks with essays and stories on topics I found interesting. As a middle schooler, I began to take classes specialized for my interest in literature, such as creative writing and advanced contemporary literature. I joined newspaper in high school out of a want to write stories that would not be kept in a notebook, stories that the world would see. Over the past three years as a writer for The Charger, I have loved to chase news/feature stories, meet new people through articles, create argumentative writings about pressing situations, and more. In the photograph on the left I am holding the 2023 Nov/Dec issue of The Charger, which was my first time having an article I wrote as the cover story and was my first time designing the cover. Included in the subpages are some of my favorite pieces that I have written.
