Hi! Thank you for visiting. I am very excited to be joining the Spotlight Team!

I have taught 3rd grade for 8 years now, and I can confidently say that third grade is my happy place. I truly love this age because students are so curious, capable, and full of energy. Watching them grow as learners while still embracing the joy of childhood makes teaching incredibly enjoyable and rewarding.

Above all, math is my absolute favorite subject to teach. I’m passionate about helping students build confidence in math through collaboration and the use of Kagan structures. I love seeing students talk through their thinking, support one another, and celebrate those lightbulb moments together. My goal is for every child to leave my classroom believing that they CAN do math, all kinds of math! 

I feel truly honored to share my classroom with you. I hope you leave with something meaningful.  Maybe a strategy, a structure, or just a glimpse of joy that fills our classroom every day.
