Hi there! I have the esteemed privilege of being part of the incredible Spotlight team! This is my 9th year as an educator. Prior to working for OMSD, I taught 1st grade inclusion in Las Vegas, NV. My previous career as a Geek Squad manager for Best Buy shed light on my love for teaching and helping others. All my efforts in education focus on establishing and building healthy connections with students and parents. By doing so, I create and foster a safe and fun enviorment for each kiddo while also motivating them to bring their best selves to each new classroom day. I truly believe it's an honor to be an educator and I hope to share my passion for this field of work with any educator, novice and expert alike.

Lesson Plan Layout

This weekly view allows teachers to foresee their weekly planning and can be created as a grade level so everyone is on the same page and there is consistency between all grade level teachers.

Spotlight Small Groups

Small Group Lesson Plan Layout

This editable layout allows the teacher to plan out for their groups to ensure all areas are covered and there is guidance for the groups. It also helps with substitute teachers to aid with small group lessons.

Number Talks

As a reference to the importance of number talks, this presentation takes you through the process of integrating mathematical academic discourse through your lessons (equivalent to Fluency in Eureka)
