Refreshing Strawberry Limeade



Servings: 2


Ingredients


  • ½ cup freshly squeezed lime juice

  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar

  • ⅓ cup water

  • ½ pound sliced strawberries (approx. 10)

  • 20-30 mint leaves

  • 2 cups cold water

Recipe


  1. To make the simple syrup, combine the sugar and water in a saucepan and cook over medium heat for 5-10 min until the sugar is dissolved and the liquid is clear


  1. In a pitcher or large jar, combine the simple syrup, lime juice, strawberries, mint and water


  1. Refrigerate for 2 - 3 hours and enjoy!



Refreshing Tropical Summer Smoothie



Serving size: 2


Ingredients


1 cup frozen mango chunks

1 cup frozen strawberries

1 frozen banana, sliced

1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt

1 teaspoon honey

1 cup ice

1/2 cup milk of your choice

1/2 cup water

1/4 cup orange juice


Recipe


  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth

  2. Pour into 2 large cups and enjoy!



Classic Shirley Temple



Serving size: 1 drink


Ingredients


1/2 cup ice cubes

1/2 cup orange juice

1/2 cup lemon-lime soda (Sprite or 7UP)

1-2 Tbsp Grenadine

1-2 maraschino cherries

1 navel orange wedge


Recipe


  1. Fill a glass with ice

  2. Add the orange juice and soda and stir. Gently pour grenadine over the drink

  3. Garnish with a cherry/cherries and an orange wedge and enjoy!
