Maintaining friendships during quarantine has been difficult because I haven’t really been able to see my school friends, although this drawing applies to online friendships as well. It isn’t easy staying in touch through texts all the time; sometimes it feels like the people I love are slipping away and all I can do is stare at an empty screen. It hurts knowing I won’t be able to see the people I love face-to-face for a long time.
