Here are our suggestions for great beaches and parks to enjoy a summer picnic. Several are close to the paddling spots and cycling routes we've suggested, or near our recommended restaurants and ice cream shops. Remember to physically distance and protect yourself from the sun. One great way to avoid the sun is to have your picnic in the evening while watching the sunset.
