Week 11

This week, we will learn about music that is fast!

The special word for fast music is allegro!

Hi everyone!

Last week, we learned about music that is slow. The special word in music for slow is largo!

I also had a great time singing with you on our Google Meet last week.

The theme was Night Sky!

A Cheetah is an animal that moves really fast (allegro)!

Can you think of other animals that move really fast?

This week, we have a chant about a mouse who moves really fast!

A mouse also moves fast (allegro).

Let's see how allegro we can say this chant!

Hickory Dickory Dock,

The mouse ran up the clock!

The clock struck one,

The mouse ran down,

Hickory Dickory Dock!

Here is an example of an allegro piece of music!

Feel free to dance along!

Are your dance moves fast or slow?

In other words, are your dance moves largo or allegro?

Song from last week's Google Meet!

Starlight, Starbright,

First star I see tonight,

I wish I may, I wish I might,

Have this wish I wish tonight!

I also played Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star for you on my flute.

Great job guessing the tune!

Here is a picture of a flute.

The flute is part of the woodwind family!
