Week 7

Hello Music Friends!

Last week, you practiced the "A" part to the Spring song.

This week, you will create the "B" part.

For Feedback on your Flip Grid video please visit:

A song that is in AB form is a song that has two different parts!

Here are the lyrics to the "A" part:

Spring, spring is finally here,

Spread some joy and spread some cheer!

Flowers blooming, birds are singing,

Tell us what else spring is bringing!

You will create the "B" part by filling in these 4 sentences:

Spring brings...

Spring brings...

Spring brings...

Spring brings...

You will use your speaking voice for the "B" part. What kind of voice did you use for the "A" part?

In order to show the two different parts of the song, you do one "steady beat move" for the "A" part and a different "steady beat move" for the "B" part.

Here is a song in AB form.

With permission from a parent, listen to this beautiful song on Youtube.

It is called Minuet in G by J.S. Bach.

Where does the "B" part of the song start? I will post the answer next week!
