Week 3 Activities

Hello Music Friends!

Last week, you practiced your ta's and ti-ti's!

This week, you will practice level 17, Ode to Joy, on your "paper" or "air" keyboard!

Please go to the tab on the top right that says, "Paper Keyboard" for the materials.

Before you play:

• 1. Please say the "ta's and ti-ti's" in Ode to Joy.
• 2. Please practice saying the finger numbers.
• 3. You play Ode to Joy with your Red Apple Right hand.
• 4. Please practice Ode to Joy 5 times.

Ode to Joy is played at the very end of Beethoven's 9th Symphony!

Beethoven is a famous composer! A composer is someone who writes music.

Beethoven wrote 9 Symphonies. They are all played by an orchestra.

His 9th Symphony adds in a chorus (a large group of singers).
