Students may also satisfy prerequisites for the Data Analytics track through prior undergraduate coursework. This allows students with relevant preparation to waive the prerequisites for Data Analytics courses, including:
(1) Programming for Business Intelligence and Analytics (MG-GY 8401) and Statistics for Data Analytics (MG-GY 6193), which are prerequisites for MG-GY 8413
(2) Business Analytics, which is the prerequisite for MG-GY 8423
Students will receive an email from the department once a decision has been made regarding their course waiver request. Please note that all course waiver requests must be processed through the Course Waiver Form. The department will not process course waiver requests via email.
**This process can take up to several weeks. Students should submit their course waiver requests several weeks before any add/drop deadlines**
**Waiving a course does not waive the credit hours. Students will take another course(s) in place of the course(s) waived.**
