Internship Academic Misconduct Policy

Internship Academic Misconduct

Please note that CP-GY 9911/9921 Internship for MS I/II - TM01 are Pass/Fail courses. As such, any confirmed instances of Academic Misconduct, as outlined in the NYU Tandon School of Engineering Student Code of Conduct, will result in the academic penalty of an “F” grade for the entire course.

Be forewarned that an “F” grade in Internship I will incur an additional penalty:

Students cannot enroll in a subsequent internship course if they have an incomplete or a fail grade (F) from a previous internship course, per the NYU Tandon School of Engineering Academic Bulletin.

To reiterate, if you are found to have engaged in academic misconduct during your Internship I course, you will receive an “F” grade and will be automatically ineligible to participate in a second internship (Internship II) as part of your current academic program.
