Titanium is our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. The system is used for scheduling, billing, and storage of all client records.
For several of our digital services, notably Titanium and SOARS, you will need to be connected to the NYU VPN.
The NYU Virtual Private Network site contains links that describe how to install and use the VPN on Windows, Mac, iPhone, Android, and iPad devices.
When connecting to the NYU VPN, select NYU VPN: All Traffic to ensure access to all systems. When you click "Connect," a new window or tab of your web browser will open, displaying the standard NYU Login (SSO) prompt.
Enter a valid NetID and Password then select Login
The standard NYU MFA (Duo) prompt will open. Authenticate using the default method that appears or by selecting “Other option” to select or configure another method (Duo Push, passcode, Touch ID, etc.).
After successful MFA authentication, the Duo prompt in the browser window is replaced with a “Secure Client” screen indicating VPN connection success. The Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility client screen will also indicate a successful connection.
To access Titanium, in addition to being connected to the VPN, you will also need to connect to the SteinRemote Apps remote desktop.
Remote Apps requires that you have Microsoft Remote Desktop installed. This is installed by default on Windows computers, and is available in the iTunes App store for Apple computers.
To connect to RemoteApps, you must be either on campus or connected to the NYU VPN.
Open a browser and navigate to the website.
Log in using your NYU NetID and password. Your NetID must be in the following format: ad\netID (e.g. ad\abc123 for user abc123).
Once you log in, click on the "CSD Titanium" application.
The application will download to your default download folder.
Open the application using Microsoft Remote Desktop.
If prompted by a secondary log in page, enter your NYU credentials again, following the above formatting.
