Janna is double-majoring in Education Studies and Applied Psychology, with a minor in Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology. Having grown up in Taiwan, Janna developed a deep appreciation for the role of education in shaping opportunities, inspiring her commitment to leveraging innovations in education technology to create more equitable, engaging, and personalized learning experiences. With a concentration in Impact and Entrepreneurship, she applies her knowledge to leadership roles that empower students by turning vision into action. As the president of ESSC, she is eager to foster a collaborative community where students can build meaningful connections and find support for their personal, academic, and professional growth.

Jesse is a junior majoring in Education Studies. Growing up in Oklahoma, his first year of high school coincided with a statewide teacher strike. This formative experience shaped his motivation for reforming the public education system and becoming a teacher himself. Jesse is excited to work alongside the other members of ESSC to curate experiences for all those passionate about education in all of its forms.
USG Representative, 2025-2026
Faye is a Sophomore currently in the Liberal Studies Program and transitioning into Education Studies. Born in Shanghai and raised in both Shanghai and California, she draws on her cross-cultural experiences to inform how she approaches education and community building. She is passionate about examining how education, law, and policy intersect with issues of equity, and she hopes to bring these perspectives into her academic and leadership work. As a member of ESSC, she is committed to fostering community and supporting her peers as they navigate both personal and academic growth.

Jennifer is double-majoring in Education Studies and Applied Psychology. Her interests lie in examining the role of education in shaping cross-cultural understanding and equity. As Secretary of ESSC, she helps with communications, organizing events, and managing the club’s social media. Jennifer is excited to connect with peers who share a passion for learning and to make ESSC events welcoming and fun for everyone. Jennifer looks forward to fostering an inclusive community and supporting ESSC in creating opportunities for connection, collaboration, and learning.
Treasurer, 2025-2026
Annie is a senior majoring in Education Studies and in the Educational Leadership, Politics, and Advocacy (ELPA) Dual Degree Program. She is passionate about exploring how universities can foster cross-cultural understanding and create inclusive environments for students from diverse backgrounds. Annie hopes to work in international education or higher education student affairs to promote global learning opportunities and support underrepresented student communities. As a treasurer, she hopes to collaborate with other E-board members to help students better navigate college life both academically and socially.
