Kellie Braase is in her first season as the head coach at Wheeling High School. Prior to Wheeling she coached for 5 season at Holmes Middle School (Girls 7th & 8th Grade). She is a former Wheeling standout basketball player, and went on to have a decorated career at Cornell College from 2012-2016. She was a two-time MWC Season Champion, NCAA DIII Tournament Qualifier, First-year Female Athlete of the Year, and Record Holder for most assists in a game (12) and season (116). Both of her sisters are also coaches and former Wheeling basketball players, her older sister Stephanie is an assistant coach at New Trier and her younger sister Deanna is the head coach at Maine West. 

SEASON PREVIEW: I am most looking forward to working with a great group of girls. This team continues to work hard each day and attack the challenges we have head on. As a program we are continuing to grow in our knowledge of the game and build off of our current skills.
