Jolie Bechtel has been coaching Girls' Basketball at Highland Park High School for the past twenty years. This is her nineteenth season at the helm of the Varsity team. She has led hundreds of girls through their high school basketball careers serving as a mentor and coach. Jolie prides herself on fostering a team environment that focuses not only on basketball and teamwork, but also on life lessons and friendships. Prior to coaching at HPHS, Jolie played high school basketball in Michigan, graduated from Western Michigan for her undergraduate degree and DePaul for her masters. In addition to her Head Coaching responsibilities, Jolie is a PE teacher at HPHS.

SEASON PREVIEW: The Giants will be a mix of young players with 3 returning starters.(Maddie (Jr.) and McKenzie Reitmeyer (Sr.) and Julia Leshtz (Sr.) We are looking forward to being competitive in the CSL north.
