Kristi Faulkner is going into her 7th season coaching at Glenbard West High School where her teams won 20+ games and consecutive conference titles in her first two seasons, as well as over 100+ games in her first 5 full seasons at GW.  Faulkner was a standout at Glenbard West High School and the University of Iowa.  At Glenbard West, she was a four-year varsity starter and finished her career with a school and DuPage County record 2,417 points.  She led the team to 3rd place in the state tournament and was a two-time All-State selection.

At the University of Iowa, where Faulkner started every game of her career, she was a two-time All-Big Ten selection, and a three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection.  She finished her Iowa career ranked 12th on the All-Time scoring list (1,242 points) and 3rd in 3 point FG’s made in a career (in 3 years of eligibility due to transferring).  Faulkner graduated with the best Free-Throw percentage in Iowa history for a career. 

In 2021, Faulkner was inducted into the IBCA Hall of Fame as a player.  As a coach, she served on the IHSA’s Basketball Advisory Committee and is a Division Assistant/District Leader for the IBCA. 

Kristi is a founder member of the Grow the Game Showcase.
