This is Coach Lance Newman's first season at the helm of the Maine East Girls Basketball program. He previously worked as an assistant coach with the Maine West Girls Basketball Program, winning a state championship in 2019. During the 2015 season he was a volunteer assistant with the boys basketball program at Stevenson High School, helping them win a state championship.
