Meghan Hutchens was named head Varsity Basketball Coach at Lyons Township in 2017. Meghan was a part of the LT program for 6 years prior to her role as head coach. Meghan came to LT from a two-year stint as assistant Varsity coach at Plainfield East High School. Prior to her tenure in coaching, she played semi-professional basketball in the Netherlands and collegiate basketball for the University of Illinois Chicago. 

SEASON PREVIEW: This is a fun group of kids, and ones that I think will connect well with each other on and off the court. We purposely have a tough schedule this season and are looking forward to facing adversity and developing as a strong group. Our coaching staff tries to instill the mindset that each game has a life of its own, not focusing on the past or future games, but the one right in front of us, and so I think utilizing this method can help this group achieve success this season.
