Coach Deanna Kuzmanic is in her 3rd season as head coach of the Maine West Girls Basketball Program. She recently lead the Warriors to their 1,000th Program Victory. After graduating and playing at Wheeling High School she went on to have a four year career at the University of Alabama Birmingham where she was a captain and 4 year starter. In 2019 she was named as a top 30 finalist for NCAA Woman of the Year, after college she played professional in Puerto Rico, being named both Rookie of the Year and Champion. She also contributed to the 2020 Puerto Rican National Team that qualified for the Tokyo Olympics. 

SEASON PREVIEW: We are a young team this year with only 5 returning Varsity players. I am excited to see the growth in leadership among our returning players as well as the growth in our newcomers on Varsity this season. I am most looking forward to the camaraderie our team builds on and off the court this season.
