- Check over your To Do list
- Grab a snack to avoid hunger as a distraction
- Discover your learning style-- such as using highlighters for color coordination and flash cards
- Find something that puts you in "study mode"-- create a positive environment
- listen to a classical playlist
- make sure your at a desk and not in bed
- make sure your area is well lit with little distractions
- Study everyday and make it a habit
- study in small chunks to retain more information
- Take frequent breaks-- use brain training games.
- Pack your things back up for the next day and charge your iPad
- Reward yourself after a study session-- do something you enjoy.

- Use the appropriate email address.
- Make sure your subject line is simple and straightforward.
- Address your reader with respect by using greetings such as "Dear____" or "Hello _____".
- Simplify the message as much as possible.
- If necessary, explain attachments and do not forget to attach the proper document the email.
- Close with courtesy by using phrases such as "Respectfully, _____", "Sincerely, _____" or "Thank you, ______" followed by your first and last name.
- Proofread carefully-- Use proper punctuation and spelling. This is not a text message to a friend, please spell out your words!
