Set aside time during the day to take care of your emotional health with some of these simple tasks.

Task 1: 4 Square Breathing

Task 3: Practice Positive Self Talk

Self talk can be both positive and negative. It can be encouraging, and it can be distressing. Positive thinking and optimism can be effective stress management tools. Having a more positive outlook on life can provide you with some health benefits.

When you notice negative thoughts, you can challenge those thoughts by turning them into positive thinking.

Task 4: Find your Happy Place

Take a few minutes to find a comfortable position, close your eyes and think about a time or place where you felt really happy. What are some of your happy places?

You can physically visit a place that makes you feel calm such as the beach, a lake, the forrest, your room. Notice how you feel when you are at this place.

Task 5: Progessive Muscle Relaxation

Task 6: Spend Time with Animals

Did you know research shows that spending time with animals can:
