To show that you are more responsible and trying to establish more independence, it is a good idea to take charge of your daily routine.

Establish an independent morning routine

Bedtime Routine Tips:

  • Go to bed and wake up around the same time every night to ensure you are getting between 6 and 9 hours of sleep

  • Be sure to wind down before bed time:

    • Take a hot shower or bath.

    • Read a book, listen to music, do some yoga stretches.

    • Make a to-do list for the upcoming day.

    • turn off all electronics and avoid caffeine.
