The Instructional Technology department works alongside the Curriculum and Instruction department to ensure that shared goals and district initiatives are met. The IT team also acts as a bridge between the technology and C&I departments to facilitate collaboration and realization of district goals.

As IT Director I:
Support the Coordinator of Instructional Technology and the Instructional Technologists in maintaining functioning relationships at their campuses with Instructional staff
Build and maintain healthy, productive relationships with the Curriculum and Instruction department to encourage communication and collaboration
Offer support and project management for other central office departments in conjunction with the technology department
Meet weekly with technology department leadership to discuss current and ongoing goals from the curriculum and instruction department and how to work within their boundaries for realization of technology initiatives
Work with Curriculum and Instruction to design and offer proper professional development opportunities as needed
Help plan and provide resources for District Leadership Team sessions and events as needed
Visit classrooms throughout the district to oversee and monitor the integration of technology into classroom instruction
