To prepare students for the future, educators must make their classrooms feel comfortable and connected to the outside world in order to facilitate their growth. Utilizing tools for communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity are essential to help personalize learning for our students and invest in both their current and future endeavors. As Director of Instructional Technology at Northwest ISD, I managed a team of profession instructional technology coaches who exposed and empowered educators to integrate these tools into their practices. I also worked with technology infrastructure teams, staff development, curriculum and instruction, and other departments to make sure our practices align to district strategy and goals. I worked with all departments to ensure data privacy, cybersecurity, responsible use, and annual compliance training measures were updated and delivered to all staff yearly, tracking completion and delivering updates to executives. I hope to continue to improve upon myself and upon my ability to reach and assist as many people as possible to help them become future-ready.
"ENFJs are natural-born leaders, full of passion and charisma. Forming around two percent of the population, they are oftentimes our politicians, our coaches and our teachers, reaching out and inspiring others to achieve and to do good in the world. With a natural confidence that begets influence, ENFJs take a great deal of pride and joy in guiding others to work together to improve themselves and their community."
