Sharing Health Informatics on LCRN PRIDES Websites
The Lead LCRN agrees with the study team how the HI will be shared locally. They also agree that this can be shared nationally and that the study team will signpost other LCRN to Lead LCRN site.
Local PRIDES Website structure, content and access levels are determined by each region however the Coordinating Centre have developed some helpful guides for managing PRIDES Websites.
PRIDES Activity Tracking using EDGE
The EDGE database can be used to record and track activity related to specific studies.
To do this, an EDGE “attribute” is designed to be attached to each study with a HI requirement, in order to record key dates through the HI development process.
EDGE offers the functionality to produce reports based on the details added to a specific “attribute”. These reports can be used to analyse the time taken to design and quality assure HI developments, to ensure the process does not cause undue delay to the start of recruitment.
