The RDN PRIDES (Primary Care Research Informatics & Digital Environment Solutions) Hub Project aims to further standardise the Health Informatics (HI) development and sharing processes currently undertaken by RRDN staff, GP practices and study teams. This is concerning the development of Health Informatics tools, designed in GP Clinical Systems, to support the delivery of Primary Care Research. The PRIDES Hub aims to work collaboratively with all RRDNs throughout the country in an effort to assist and advise on all aspects of developing a new local PRIDES service, or enhancing the service that is already in place, within the project timeline running until March 2024.
We will be reaching out to all RRDNs individually over the next couple of months, but the first stage of this project is to open the Hub Inbox for business! From Tuesday 22nd November, we welcome all RRDNs to send through their queries related to PRIDES team construction as well as requests related to individual studies, to the inbox at prides-hub@nihr.ac.uk.
We have also updated the PRIDES Toolkit with resources specific to the delivery of the PRIDES Hub! This resource will give guidance on the areas in scope for Hub support, as well as how the Hub can support RRDNs to both resolve queries, whilst also offering support to contribute towards the development of the local PRIDES team.
