I am a Supporting LCRN opening a study

What is the responsibility of supporting LCRNs when delivering PRIDES?

Supporting LCRNs should access a Health Informatic from the Lead LCRN PRIDES Website. They can download the IT file and share it locally. Supporting LCRNS may want to test and ensure it works in their area (may need code changes in some cases). They may want to troubleshoot by discussing it with the Lead LCRN but should take responsibility for making any local changes they wish to make and for rolling out local versions to their region. If there are any major protocol changes to a study then the Lead LCRN is responsible for making any necessary changes to the master HI file and re-sharing on their local PRIDES website.

Search for studies with Health Informatics on our Search Directory and find Lead LCRN PRIDES websites and contacts via our Local PRIDES Services page.

Supporting LCRN Responsibilities

Supporting LCRNs will:

  • Download the study specific HI from the Lead LCRN website.

  • share the HI locally via the Lead LCRN website or for local versions via a local PRIDES website, emailing files, inserting files into each GP system or sharing group of their own depending on their preference.

  • Conduct local testing to ensure HI works in their area (may need code changes in some cases).

  • Trouble shoot any fundamental issues by discussing with the Lead LCRN
