Move In and Welcome Week

Freshmen move into their rooms the Friday before classes begin in the Fall. Upperclassmen will be on campus to help freshmen get settled and to lead them through various events before classes start the next Tuesday. Among these events are the Welcome Weekend picnic, Domerfest, and occasional cookouts with other dorms around campus.

Day of man

Early in the spring semester, the men of Siegfried don their shorts, t-shirts, and flip flops to brave the arctic conditions of winter on campus to raise money for the South Bend Homeless Shelter. We have raised more than $100,000 since the fundraiser's beginnings and, in 2018, we raised over $17,000.

dorm mass

The Siegfried community comes together in our very own chapel every Sunday night at 10 PM to celebrate the Eucharist. Daily Mass is also said Monday and Tuesday at 10 PM.

Siegfried hall council

Anyone interested in helping the dorm or finding out what is planned for the upcoming week needs only to show up at Hall Council Meetings every Tuesday in the Chapel Lounge starting at 10:30 PM. Free pizza will be served!

football pep rallies

Before every home football game, the Notre Dame student body gathers in various locations on campus to get pumped up for the game. The first pep rally of the year allows all freshmen on campus to show their dorm pride.

SYR

Each fall, Siegfried hosts an annual SYR (Setup Your Roomate) to help kickoff the school year. Generally held in late September, the SYR will generally have a dorm-wide theme selected. In 2018, the Siegfried SYR was themed "Rambler Rodeo," and featured some of the schools most-attractice cowboys and cowgirls mingling in the prestigious Monogram Room inside of the Joyce Center. winter formal

Siegfried's Winter Formal is usually held in early February in the Dahnke Ballroom in the New Duncan Student Center. The event is exclusive for the men of Siegfried and their dates from the many women's dorms on campus.
