Moodle Profile & Settings
This page covers guides and how-to's for your profile and settings in Moodle. You can use the link navigation to the left to quickly jump to a specific section. Use the bar at the top of this page to go to a different page topic.
━ Step 1 ━
Once logged into Moodle, locate the User Icon, and click Profile.
━ Step 2 ━
In the User Details section, click Edit Profile.
━ Step 3 ━
Scroll down to the User Picture section. Click the "+" icon, or drag and drop the files you wish to submit.
━ Step 4 ━
Click Choose File to upload documents from your computer. Click Upload This File.
━ Step 5 ━
Click Update Profile at the bottom of the page to save the changes you've made.
In addition to adding a profile picture, students can edit several other things in Moodle as well. Below is a full list of profile options students can edit:
━ Create a short bio/description of yourself.
━ Add a profile picture and/or description.
━ Add phonetic spellings of your first/last name.
━ Add your middle and/or alternate name(s).
━ Optional personal identification links and/or numbers.

Once logged into Moodle, locate the User Icon, and click Preferences.
━ Step 2 ━
Under User Account, click Notification Preferences.
━ Step 3 ━
You can mute all notifications by checking off the Disable Notifications box.
OR
You can scroll through and turn off/on the notifications you wish to receive or not.
