Culturally Responsive Teaching

Objectives:

• Define Culturally Responsive Teaching.

• Reflect on ways to empower learners to take more initiative by discovering what is motivating and engaging to them.

• Reflect on how Culturally Responsive Teaching can be used to eliminate barriers for all students.

For this session, you will be watching a variety of videos, reading articles, and researching how to create a culturally responsive classroom.  Please make a copy of this guided note template as you work your way through this course.
