In Derung village, there are many delicious food. Here are the photos and introductions of those food~
Rice noodles are made of rice. After slightly boiling in boiling water, people put the noodles into cold water. After the noddles cool down, they usually would be mixed with peanuts, chopped green onion, soy sauce, salt, monosodium glutamate, spicy and bolognese.
Different with the normal tea, the tea in Derung villages are from the Ancient Tea Trees. Those tea trees grow much slower than the normal tea trees but they have a better taste. I took this photo at a Derung tea picker's home.
Instead of normal beef which we eats every day, Derung people mostly eat the yak meat. Yak is long-haired domesticated bovid which you can find everywhere in Derung villages. Their meats taste kind of different than the normal beef because they are more chewy.
In Derung villages, people would boile the yak meat, cool it down and mix them with spicy, soy sauce and salt,
The Derung village usually located next to the river. So it is naturally Derung people would cook the fishes in a variety of ways. One of the most famous one is the braised fish.
