These VR headsets can be used with a mobile phone for programs which such VR - for some, you open into VR mode through the app and for others, you use a URL If viewing a display which does not show in 360 view, look for a small VR symbol in which may look like the front of a headset, the lower right corner. Clicking on it will enter the user into the VR viewing mode.
Because phone displays are different sizes, and VR headsets are different, it's common to need to tweak the VR setting for the best view.
These VR headsets can be used with the Tello app and a bluetooth controller to fly the drone in First Person View (FPV) mode.

In 2022, Google removed the view in VR icon from the iPhone YouTube app. It's still available on the Android YouTube app.
A workaround is to install and use VRPlayer : 2D 3D 360° Video a 360 video viewer app for the iPhone. This website explains how to use it.

You can search YouTube with your voice and sign into YouTube (using Google Account) and view videos you've saved to a playlist. This playlist can be created outside of the Oculus Quest. YouTube VR allows the playing of 360 videos with spatial/directional audio. While you could use Google Cardboard and a cell phone or iPad Touch, the experience is more immersive - and it works everything.
