The MAISD supports an aviation camp. During the summer of 2022, the community supporters of the camp provided the funding to purchase two complete flight simulator packages, with flight controllers, pedals, software and high end Windows computers and monitors for running the X-Plane software. These were donated to the Discovery Center for their use in area classrooms during the school year.
