Included in the membership is a free flight in a small airplane
As an Aerospace Educator, you can also apply for grants
No fee to renew - only need to pay the $35 membership fee once
You can get the entire school or your grade level colleagues to join and everyone can request the same item - allowing you to create a larger # of items for shared use
Membership is also open to home schoolers and other groups such as scouts and church groups - anyone who is teaching STEM
After using an item, you document the use using an evaluation form (include some photos) and then you can apply to receive another set of items. It's common for a teacher to apply for, receive, evaluate and repeat - receiving multiple items a year.
Depending on the cost and the # of students served, you may receive multiple sets of an item (I received two Bee-bots and two grids, valued at over $300)
STEM are shipped quarterly. Be patient
