Description of Conditions

Mahomet-Seymour High School physical needs generally relate to updates to aging systems. Replacement of flooring, ceilings, and lighting systems are a common need throughout the facility.  Also, upgrades to specialty spaces such as science labs, gym spaces, locker rooms and fine arts are need to replace out of date equipment. In addition full HVAC system replacement along with controls, expansion of the sprinkler system to areas currently not covered. Also, upgrades to the plumbing system, including fixtures, and domestic water distribution is a key consideration at this building.

This facility has had recent upgrades to areas like the library, commons, auditorium, field house, and secured entry that have added some life to the facility, and should be considered examples of what the full facility should be.
