Enrollment

Historically, enrollment at Mahomet Seymour CUSD #3 has shown steady growth, following a dip which ended in 2009.  Over the past decade, the district has seen growth of nearly 20% through the 2020-21 school year.  Year over year growth has been consistent at approximately 1% per year on average.

In the Fall of 2018, the Mahomet-Seymour schools partnered with the Village of Mahomet to have a demographic study/enrollment forecast done. This was presented to the Board of Education and VOM Board of Trustees in January of 2019. We have just received updated forecasts, going out to the year 2030. The results of this study are shown below expanding upon our historical enrollment data.

Enrollment vs Capacity

Estimated Enrollment. These figures were estimated beyond the projected enrollment provided by the demographic study in order to understand when both planned capacity, and max capacity would be exceeded. As opposed to the projected enrollment which was based on full demographic study, these rely upon that infomation as well as our historical growth to forsee beyond the year 2031:
