5th Grade Newsletter

Our grade level newsletter will be updated every two weeks to support communication between school and home.
Winter Weather Wear
Students need to bring jackets and coats for cooler weather.
We use the "feels like" temperature to make our official recess decision during the cold months. If lunch recess feels like 10 degrees and up, we will go outside. If it feels like 9 and below, we will have indoor recess.
Midterm Progress Reports

These forms were sent home Friday, November 17th. If you are in need of another printout, please contact your fifth grader's homeroom teacher.
MAP Testing
Winter Testing Sessions Begin!
Winter MAP and Reading Testing will begin soon.
Reading Testing is scheduled for December 5th - December 7th.
Math Testing will occur the following week December 12th - 14th.

Don't forget to pack these daily needs!
Students should continue to always have a water bottle and snack or two packed in their backpack each day. Water and a nutritious snack fuel the brain and keep students going as they learn and grow!
